Calais knew that his dreams were ridiculous and unattainable, knew they were unrealistic. Yet they were comforting and he often times relished in the comfort of his imagination, instead of facing the real world.
Nevertheless, he found himself yearning for a different method of storytelling. One that felt restrictive, yet when done correctly could paint world's in your mind more powerful then ink and parchment, then paint and canvas.

Tim is pretty sure this shit is absolutely not worth it, but it’s too late now and even if it wasn’t, Mama ain’t raise no fuckin’ quitter.

Tim’s quest to bring Bruce back from his Time-Travel-Super-Vacation goes horribly topsy-turvey when Ra's takes a more pro-active approach to keeping Tim prisoner, and he ends up in an alternate universe where he never existed, and everybody is disorientingly well-adjusted and weirdly obsessed with his “wellness”, whatever that means.
Tim hates mystical artifacts.

Summary
Tim Drake was ten when he was kidnapped by Lex Luthor. He was eleven when he helped successfully clone Superman, became friends with Kon, and subsequently helped Kon escape.
He has been trapped for almost 8 years, operating as Cardinal, an anonymous cyber-vigilante giving tips to the heroes and dumping the less solid evidence onto the internet for the world to see. He has long accepted that this is his role, he will operate from the background, help his heroes, and fuck with Luthor’s goals at every chance he gets.
Everything changes when five young heroes are kidnapped by Luthor, and Tim is reunited with Kon.
A chance for new family, new friends, a new life hangs in the balance, and if Tim plays his hand just right, he might finally get everything he never dared to dream of
