His lips were trembling, unable to speak as he looked at the figure. She could tell from his eyes that he was being sent a death glare, the gaze piercing through him.
Coming to her senses, she began to piece together who it was. The hand against her neck was familiar; firm, rough but soft. They didn’t apply enough pressure to hurt, but it was familiar. Domineering, even. Familiar to how Mizi would act whenever a guard eyed Sua up for a bit too long in front of her. It was definitely her.
The rough voice that left the figure proved it, her usual soft tone replaced by an annoyed one, “Is there a problem?” It was a threat, daring him to continue what he was talking about.
