In an effort to build a sense of team, each of the Tadfools tells a children's story around the fire. Lae'zel uses the stories to learn Faerûn customs in an attempt to woo Shadowheart. Purely to get it out of her system, obviously.
Lae'zel did not like Shadowheart. Shadowheart was her enemy. Enemies should not make one's heart beat so quickly.

Shadowheart is assigned on a mission with four other Sharrans to retrieve an artifact from a githyanki hideout.
Failure is not an option, but it almost seems within reach when during the mission, a particular githyanki catches Shadowheart with the artifact in hand.

Summary
The continued post-game adventures of Shadowzel!
Lae'zel and Shadowheart have fought monsters, gods, and each other... but nothing could prepare them for falling in love. Finally settling down to marry and raise the mysterious egg they picked up in their journeys, their hard-won peace is shattered when the Sharrans emerge on the scene again, convinced Shadowheart holds the key to a prophesy that could destroy Shar herself. Now the two women (with the help of the rest of the tadpole crew) must fight to protect their family, their home, and the life they've built before the shadows close in.
Notes:
1. Shadowheart's parents are alive and she still copes with the incurable wound because of it.
2. Just in case it makes a difference, I am a Lae'zel's taller than Shadowheart truther.

A slow burn in a canon-ish setting.
For Shadowheart, surviving a fall from a burning alien space craft is far is less baffling the gith warrior she encountered there. Now, seeking a cure for the tadpole parasite, theyre stuck with each other whether they like it or not. Spoiler alert, they don't.
Enemies to lovers but God's favourite Princess and our beloved green warrior are SO much more than that.
Rated M for violence and spicy scenes in later chapters.
