Summary
Kesällä 1943 toinen maailmansota on käynnissä. Suomen ja Neuvostoliiton välillä vallitsee asemasota, jossa rintamalinjat pysyvät pääosin paikoillaan ja taisteluita on vähemmän kuin liikkuvassa sodassa. Nuorten miesten elämä kaukana kotoa on odottelua, epävarmuutta ja surua, mutta myös toveruutta, huumoria ja naurua.
Juhannuksen jälkeen erääseen Karjalan Kannaksen tukikohtaan saapuu uusi sotilas. Tylsyyden, vaarojen ja kaiken särkyneen keskellä alkaa versoa jotain ehjää ja kaunista.
Bojan hengitti Jeren hengitystä.
”Mä oon aina ajatellut, että ihmisissä on tarinoita. Sussa on kokonainen kirja.”
