Summary
Castiel pulled Dean from Hell and hasn't let Dean forget it. Dean was back from the dead and the being that rescued him was an all-powerful badass angel in a tall, dark, and handsome vessel. Castiel was well-versed in human behavior and he’d never met a human he couldn’t seduce. Dean was flustered by his presence, the angel was always in Dean’s personal space and he had a dirty mouth. And Dean was weak, how could he not welcome Castiel’s advances? Not to mention it was a total turn-on that Castiel had given him a permanent mark and laid complete claim to Dean’s soul.

Summary
Atemporalia: A rare congenital condition in which a person possesses a birthmark that, in adulthood, develops into an image called a soulmark. This mark, found in the palm of the hand, is meant to “bond” an individual with a compatible mate (a “soulmate”) through a series of biochemical reactions. Persons with Atemporalia activate this process by pressing their soulmarks together. The name Atemporalia is given to this condition due to the arresting of age that occurs once the adult soulmark erupts. Persons with Atemporalia, once bonded, resume aging and can expect an average lifespan with no further impact of the condition on their lives. Prognosis for persons who do not bond is unknown.
When the case of a killer who wouldn’t die required a consultant, Dean and Sam were directed to Castiel, who possessed a particular condition that made him perfect for the role—and for Dean.
Castiel ran a humble curiosities shop in Sedona, his hunting days long behind him (though never far from his mind). When the Winchesters showed up, Castiel instantly recognized the green-eyed man before him: he was his soulmate, the one he’d waited decades for.

Ah, well. Dean figured Alastair would get impatient eventually.
As if on cue, the basement door swung open. A part of Dean tensed, his muscles ready to leap into action but Dean knew better. He forcd himself not to move, to remain at least a picture of calm.
Until a body was flung down the stairs.
Dean blinked.
Blinked again.
“Well that's new,” he mused out loud to himself. And then he realized it was Alastair. He hummed, jumping to his feet. “Definitely new.”
A set of footsteps started down the steps and he waited with bated breath, not quite sure what the hell was going on but eh. He’d learned to roll with the punches.
And boy, what a punch this was.
It hit him right in the gut even.
