Summary
Tommy wishes that Tubbo was still his friend, and that it was like how they used to be. Best friends, completely inseparable. He wishes it was back when he was the annoying kid tagging along with the famed "Sleepy Boys Inc." flock, the annoying fourth-wheel in the Championships. He wasn’t even an avian and they kept him around for some reason. Probably just for entertainment, but that was okay. It was nice of them to let him hang around as long as they did. Doesn’t mean he can’t long for their company, their powerful wings and soft, warm feathers that Wilbur used to wrap around him during their first nights in Pogtopia before Tommy drove him insane.
He’s too tired and numb to try and choke back the weird, warbly sob that rises in his throat, and he hates himself for it. It’s such an ugly, creature-like sound, and he decides not to think about that too hard.

Summary
With eighty percent of the population having been born with a quirk of some kind, you would think you would be one of the majority.
But you weren't.
(At least, that's what you tell yourself.)
But it doesn't matter, you live a quiet independent life and you get by just fine.
That is until one day when you return home from work only to find half the block destroyed in a villain attack. You believe the ordeal to be over as the villains have fled the scene with heroes on their tail, only to realize someone was left behind in the rubble.
(Alternatively: You become roommates with one newly made nomu named Kurai)
((So, there are a lot of inconsistencies that I never really got around to fixing, and now if I try, it will change the story too much from what it was. For those who still enjoyed it, mistakes and all, I'll still be updating it. For those who'd rather have the fixed version, I will be posting a new, hopefully less convoluted version!))

Shouta is tired, his days blurring together as he slowly loses more of himself, done with trying to combat an outcome that he isn't even sure is so bad anymore. His life is one big disappointment, and he's accepted that fact long ago; probably the same day he knew he would never have Hizashi, but he doesn't care to pinpoint the exact moment. It takes too much energy.
His need to feel something, anything is what leads him to go out that night, to go home with that alpha; he just needed a distraction. He just wanted to feel good for a change.
But even fun has consequences, and Shouta is only half aware of just how many have come for him.
