Summary
Many terrible things have been said about the bathrooms in Nino’s. The reality didn’t entirely live up to the hype, but you wouldn’t want to stay long enough to really draw comparisons. Every first Tuesday of the month smelled the safest because kids ate free, turning the Aglionby hangout-hangover cesspit into a family friendly establishment. Tonight, the tea tasted extra delicious, the pizzas extremely fresh and, good God, Ronan’s face looked utterly delectable in the bathroom mirror.

“You look like a gremlin,” she says, going right to the fridge and taking out one of the containers of soup.
“‘s ‘cause I am one.” Shoving the rest of his sandwich in his mouth, Ronan washes it down with a few cupped handfuls of water before turning around. “Gansey still asleep?”
Blue shakes her head as she dumps soup into an enormous mug and sticks it in the microwave. “Nah, woke up a little while ago. Looks awful.”

Brows coming together, Gansey cocks his head. “I thought he was spending the night.”
“I told him Blue wasn’t feeling well, and you know he’s always looking for an excuse to leave.”
Adam watches as Blue’s cheeks turn red and she pushes some chicken around on her plate. “Pshaw,” she mumbles. “He didn’t have to do that.”
“You’d better get used to it,” Gansey says, reaching across the table and taking Blue’s hand, “because it’s nowhere near the most outrageous thing Ronan’s done for someone he loves.”
