Cole was human again. It was... surprising, if he was being honest. Being a ghost was supposed to be permanent. For Sensei Yang to stay behind so Cole could be human again was, honestly, a bit disconcerting after everything he’d done beforehand. Now Cole just had to get used to being human again. Too bad things were never that simple.

When Iverson had contacted Shiro to have him explain why a boy with serious disciplinary problems was included in the names of future cadets waiting for registrations, the man wasn’t surprised at all.
"Sir, he is very talented." He said bluntly: "you won't be disappointed."
Iverson was not convinced at all. If there was one thing that man hated, it was the lack of discipline. Shiro took a deep breath.
"I guarantee for him, sir. You won't regret it.”

The fact that the paladins were a jumbled-together group of misfits had never been more obvious than in the aftermath of Shiro's disappearance. However, Keith and Hunk found solace in each other on those nights when neither one could sleep. Shiro's returned, but trauma bonds are hard to break. / A.k.a. Keith and Hunk comfort each other over a dessert that's as messy as their lives.
