Turns out, despite fighting so hard for this country’s freedom in the first place, Alexander Hamilton really didn’t handle many aspects of classic celebration that well, which could vary from being all-too-interested drinking to block out memories, to not liking any sort of loud noises or crowds because of the internal association with warfare. George Washington finds that he can relate, and by proxy, teach him to cope with the stress of it all.
