Summary
Gale refused Mystra's offer to stabilize his orb and its arcane hunger had been growing worse by the day. When he is forced to leave his friends due to increasing liability, he is surprised to find Astarion joining him on his journey to travel to a safe plane of existence. And when the hunger of the orb reaches a fever pitch the two men discover that while the orb's typical preference is magical artefacts, it will also accept...*other* forms of payment.

Summary
There was silence. Neither of them said anything, they didn’t even move.
Gale regarded him with wide eyes, seemingly taking his features in anew. Then, he scoffed, straightening up to sit on his bedroll. “Of course. I can’t believe I didn’t see it.”
No fucking way. He was not being this arrogant, this insufferable, in this moment. Astarion must’ve misheard him, only he knew he hadn’t.
“You think yourself that smart, Gale?” he asked with narrow eyes, face twisting with distaste.
“Yes, in fact I do.” Gale replied, his tone returning all of Astarion’s hostility. “I am a studied wizard after all. I’ve read all about your kind, assuming you are merely a spawn.”
“Merely.” Astarion repeated. He kept quiet for a while, attempting to discern what Gale was going to do. He discreetly wrapped his hand around the dagger he hid in the hem of his pants, just in case.
The wizard seemed to be lost in thought for a while. Eventually he looked up at Astarion, his eyes twinkling in the moonlight. “Did you plan to kill me?”
“What?” Astarion choked on the word.

The vampire's eyes are wide and round, full of amazement. They dart wildly around the sights below, as if trying to see everything at once. The lights of the city reflect upon his face, soft shadows dancing across his elegant features. The very tips of his fangs are visible from his parted lips.
The radiance of the city pales in comparison.

Two months after the brain falls, Baldur's Gate has picked up most of the pieces. The heroes that saved Faerûn have been there through most of it, helping the city get back on its feet. But now it's time to move on. Old lives and families to return to. Gale is going back to his tower in Waterdeep, back to the quiet, back to being alone; or at least, that was the plan. But plans change.
This is a story about falling in love.

Once again, the android felt an unfamiliar pull on the corners of his mouth. A spark of flickering warmth began burning low, somewhere deep inside of him.

Summary
Connors thirium pump squeezes with nerves as silence drags on before he's suddenly pulled into a tight hug, eyes wide in surprise as Hanks arms squeeze him closer into his chest. Hanks hugged him before, just once outside the Chicken Feed after the revolution, he'd embraced Connor and they'd stood there for a long moment before settling into Hanks car for a long talk between friends. This hug was different, hanks hand rubbing slow circles into his back and the other pulling him so close that he could feel hanks heartbeat echoing through his chassis.

“I do not, but I…do not wish to return to my room right away.”He detects signs of distress from Hank, as if the other is worried for him, it is flattering, but this was not the intended purpose of his request.
