    Summary

To Sunday, Aventurine is a temptation to sin. To Aventurine, Sunday is an angel to corrupt. When both of them give in, a world seems to crumble.

But mistakes can't be rewritten, and friends like to meddle, and if Aventurine doesn't like black coffee, maybe he's willing to let Sunday show him a different option.

    Summary

Freshly integrated into the Astral Express crew, Sunday finds himself on the troublesome end of a misunderstanding whilst perusing market stalls at the docks of a foreign planet. The young trio proves to be an unlikely set of allies as he attempts to evade incarceration.
    Again.
Alternatively, Sunday finally procures a phone. He's all too eager to message a certain Stoneheart regarding his choice cologne brand.

    **~~~~~~**~~~~~~**~~~~~~**~~~~~~**~~~~~~**~~~~~~**

The Express Crew's weekly game night starts off as nothing out of the ordinary. It is, much to Sunday's chagrin, another round of Marco Polo. He supposes that it's better than yet another round of Charades.
Regardless of the game's clear objective to evade him at all costs, Sunday finds it more than a little odd when not a single member of the crew responds to his calls, and he's very close to forfeiting entirely when a voice finally breaks the silence:

    "...Marco?"
    "Polo."
Oh, but that's...that's not the Express Crew at all.

    Summary

Aventurine, who had been busy tallying his hourly rate so he could figure out how much this excruciatingly boring funeral was costing the IPC, sat up at the sound of the lector's voice. It was soft, deceptively so, but with strength beneath, like silk draped over steel.

Undoubtedly this man was an uptight, joyless choir boy. But Aventurine still felt that familiar thrum of want, deep in his bones.

    ...

From her seat in the back of the church, Acheron closed her eyes and let the sound of the choir wash over her. She tried to pick out Robin's voice from the mingled harmony, to catch the brilliant thread of her song and let it pull her apart. There was nothing in the world like Robin's music for making her feel both joy and despair.

A stronger woman would stop coming to these services. She didn't even believe in Xipe. As the funeral director, she'd made all the arrangements for this service but that didn't mean she needed to attend. And yet she did. Every funeral. Every Saturday service. Robin's voice a lifeline that drew her back and back again.
