Charlotte Katakuri nunca pensó que llegaría a interpretar el papel de novio en una de las fiestas de té de su madre. El anuncio qué mencionaba el cambio de planes para la próxima ceremonia había tomado a todos desprevenidos, ya que no solo se trataba del intercambio entre el y Pudding si no que también el asesinato del Germa se había suspendido. Su madre era codiciosa y seguramente la información filtrada sobre el prometido por parte de la familia Vinsmoke era la razón del repentino cambio, los motivos no importaban, su madre al fin le había quitado lo único que le quedaba.
Por otra parte para Sanji, volver a saber de su familia biológica a través de los oficiales de Big Mom se había sentido devastador, la repentina amenaza hacía sus seres queridos no le dejan opción más que realizar el viaje qué le permita recuperar su libertad sin perjudicar a su familia y amigos.
Sus planes se ven devastados apenas se entera del cambio de prometido, Charlotte Katakuri, un Alpha. El entendimiento llega tan rápido qué lo marea.
