All in all, the scene Bruce walked in on was nothing short of unexpected.
Diana was sitting on the couch facing Clark, his cape bunched up in her lap like a blanket. She was poking and prodding at his wings, smoothing her hands over rough scales and searching for any dead ones that needed to be removed. Clark said nothing about her preening, but politely let her do so anyway.
She chirped happily at the activity, although a little determined when she couldn't find any scales that needed tending to. Clark's wings twitched, and he turned in the direction of the door as Bruce entered. Diana was too focused on her current task to look up. Not that Bruce expected her to. It had been a long day, and she deserved some time to unwind.

She'd kept Hotch in her hotel room sheets until well past noon, a lazy debate about the scruff on his jaw happened between them. She likes the rasp of it between her thighs. Leave it, she'd whispered into his neck, and he'd listened.
The rapid-fire tap of his thumbs on his phone screen is a language she knows too well.
"Who's it?" She asks anyway.
"Just telling Haley I'm on my way."
One eye squints against a sudden, hollow twist in her gut. "Beth with her?"
All Hotch gives her is a look, yes. An itchy, uncomfortable growl escapes her.
