Hashirama is staring up at the daimyo, mouthing something, that if it echoes Madara’s feelings, is likely “what the fuck?” The two negotiators glance at each other in utter bafflement, as shocked as the rest of them, and Madara readies himself to rise and take the daimyo’s throat in his fist.

Summary
Tobirama was sick. He knew he was. Knew that the lack of pack he so desperately craved was killing him, just as he knew that allowing himself to drifted off into his sensing range to curl up within his anchor's chakra, clinging to his anchor, was the only thing keeping him alive and sane. He also knew it wasn't a long term solution and that eventually he would die, sooner rather than later, and he was content with that. Planned for it even.
Too bad his anchor was completely against any plan resulting in his eternal rest and came up with a plan of their own resulting in Tobirama being kidnapped and mated by the clan head of the Senju's enemy.

A fight between Senju and Uchiha reveals something unexpected that leads Uchiha Madara to question one of his own clan members. What he finds out changes the cause entirely and Madara is tired. If he wants his clan to survive then he needs to follow his own instincts and stop letting others dictate what's best for the clan.

Summary
The Creche Masters were often considered the last line of defence against external threats. Today marked the first time in centuries that their hand was forced. Alarms echoed through the eerily empty halls. In the distance, the sound of battle could be heard but it had not yet reached the heart of the Temple quite yet.
The fight ahead would not be pretty. It would not be long before it arrived.
The tall ornate doors leading to the most inner sanctum of the Coruscant Temple had been shut and locked. Behind it, the Jedi Younglings were being readied for evacuation.
In front of the door stood a lone figure.
This was hardly the first time Creche Master Obi-Wan Kenobi acted as a sentry, though this position might just be his most crucial one. His huddle of Younglings were behind the doors at his back, and he would die before letting anyone through those doors.
He stood still, unmoving and unafraid. Taking a deep breath, Obi-Wan took his saber and held it. He knew what he had to do, and he would stop at nothing to do it.
These Mandalorians would pay for breaking into the Temple with their lives.

Quinlan knew there was no convincing Obi-Wan at this point. “Fine. But don’t come crying to me when things go wrong.”
They both knew Quinlan would be the first to aid Obi-Wan should things go wrong.

Civilization had long since disappeared outside the window, the sprawling suburbia she’d tentatively called home for the better part of seventeen years giving way to dense forests and sheer cliffs of dark grey rock. The few school trips they had ever taken out to the countryside had always stopped well before the mountains, contained to state parks and educational farms. Standing out there, breathing in something other than car exhaust and cut grass, she’d always felt a sense of freedom.
The walls of sedimentary rock that rose above either side of the road felt like an omen.
