I started it as a way to provide some much-needed context and clarity (cope) to the chapter as a whole. However! I have decided not only to do this, but to also elaborate on Izuku and Katsuki's relationship as adults. It's a bit of a work in-progress, but I have a general idea of the direction I want it to go. This will be told by a third-person narrator that mostly revolves around Katsuki. (Duh.) Everything will be as close to canon as possible, including characters, plotline, backstory, etc. This is my first fic, so bear with me!

But some things remain unaffected by the passage of time: The sun will always rise in the east. Flour, yeast, salt, and water will always make bread. And, evidently, Izuku Midoriya will always receive whatever Katsuki Bakugou is willing to give.

His popularity rankings are plummeting and he and his manager need to find a way to make him the public's favorite. But there are so many approaches to take…what strategy should they use? What does Katsuki need to do to become likable?
The answer becomes obvious when Izuku is introduced. When his manager sees a side of Katsuki he’s never seen before. The green haired man is special to Katsuki, that much is clear. Katsuki becomes nicer and softer and kinder around him.
And he needs that version of Katsuki public. Needs people to see how nice Katsuki can be around someone he loves.
So, Izuku is now Katsuki’s fake boyfriend. Only for publicity purposes of course.

When Carmy’s piece of shit father finally dies, the news doesn’t come through family. It’s through a lawyer. An older man with a painter’s brush mustache, a Saint Laurent checkered cashmere suit, and a Chopard on his wrist. The inheritance is clear, his ill-gotten estate is to be split between his remaining biological children. The only issue is the two clauses to the hefty windfall heading their way.
One - If any sibling can’t meet the standards of the clause, the other siblings can not share their inheritance or they forfeit their own.
Two - They must be legally married for at least one year before receiving their share.
When Carmy can see the dreams he’d be able to make a reality with that cash fade away he’d blurted out that he was engaged without thinking. Engaged to Sydney. The only issue with Carmy’s grand plan was Sydney hadn’t spoke to him since he left The Bear. Almost two years ago.

Those words feel like a punch to the gut. He starts thrashing and struggling against the black quicksand trapping him.
It hurts. It hurts so much. Still he keeps pushing. Because Satoru needs him.Finally, he is free.
He looks up and finds himself face to face with Satoru, who is still kneeling with his hands tied behind his back by the Prison Realm and is looking straight back at him.
All the defiance and aggression from earlier is gone from his eyes, replaced instead by a familiar softness.
Satoru smiles, weak and tired, but sincere nonetheless.“Welcome back, Suguru.”

Katsuki’s heart is beating so fast inside his chest that it might give out any minute now. He places his phone against his ear with a trembling hand, praying to a god he’s not sure he believes in that this isn’t what he thinks it is. “All Might? What is it? What the fuck is going on?”
“Young Bakugou, please try to keep calm,” All Might’s full-of-static voice says over the phone. “But I need you to meet me at the station as soon as possible.”
“Why? What’s happening?”
“It seems that, on the way out of your apartment earlier tonight, Young Midoriya has been… taken.”
“Taken? The fuck do you mean, taken? Taken where?”
“We don’t know, my boy,” All Might laments, voice shaky and nervous. “Young Midoriya is missing. No one knows where he is.”After a fight at Katsuki's apartment has Izuku storming out alone, a cult of rich, quirkless people kidnap him. Their goal? Use Izuku’s genetics to try and recreate One For All, which they wish to bestow upon all quirkless people across the world.

Once again, my brain was too slow to stop me. I seriously needed to get a handle on this habit of blurting things out around Kacchan. Ever since this house arrest, it had been like a curse.
“Ugh…” Kacchan seemed to be thinking. His mouth opened twice, then closed again. He pressed his lips into a thin line before letting out a frustrated breath.
“Fine! After this, we never talk about this crap again, got it?”
Without waiting for a response, he leaned in and pressed his lips to mine for the third time that day - this time properly.
