Truthfully, this isn’t the first time he has had this conversation. Three years prior, shortly after restoring Lorule, Ravio and Irene staged an intervention where they tried to get him to at least try a cane. Legend refused, adamant that he could walk perfectly fine on his own.
Now, he isn’t so sure.

Sky shouts and there’s hands on him, pulling him up, urging him along, but Legend points his mind toward the shield above them and keeps it there. He tries his best to mend the holes, to nudge his magic where it’s needed most; it’s cooing at him, worrying over him, over his heartbeat, over how much he’s already gone over the limit.
The vet mentally soothes it as he distantly feels his legs give out.
