Summary
Being on Coruscant for the duration of the war had its effects, both positive and negative, but Fox knew the one he was most proud of was his mental walls, of a scale and durability that had been the result of compliment by many a visiting Jedi. Or maybe not a compliment. They seemed more suspicious than anything. What was Fox to know, he wasn't a jedi, he couldn't read minds. And they couldn't read his.
Fox raised his blaster, and Skywalker toppled into the same unconsciousness as Fives.
One problem down, far too many to go.
Or: Fox has been trying his best for too long, the Jedi are helpful, and Palpatine underestimates the Clones.

Summary
Grabby Bastard glances at Fives and he can see how the Arkanian's eyes flick across his body. Fives imagines the reassuring heft of his vibroblade in his hand. It's extra pointy for this fucker - excellent for stabbing. Fives might start at his kneecaps.
"Oh? How so?"
"It will listen to you as long as you keep it apart from the rest. It's protective of the others."
The mocking in the Palliduvan wanker's tone brings the imagined number of kneecaps removed in Fives' mind to four.
With the mission having gone sideways; Fives and his men find themselves captured and a long way from the GAR.
But they are Fives' men to protect and ensure they return to their brothers, and his brothers' wellbeing is always Fives' priority.Series

"You don't know? You don't know?! What nonsense, di'kut! Answer, CC-1010, who talked you into this!? Why did you try to kill Master Plo Koon?! And don't you dare lie to me, shabuir! This time you won't talk your way out of it!" His twin was breathing heavily, his hands clawing at the air in front of him. Fox could imagine the other commander picturing himself squeezing his throat. -

The bar goes silent.
Anakin rises to his feet, “Excuse me gentleman,” He slides past the three troopers on his left, “I’ll be right back.”

There’s a breath between each of these interactions where Rex forgets that they’re on a mission with two false identities and not just two people twined around one another at a party, enjoying all that Coruscant’s nightlife has to offer. This time, Ahsoka’s hand is absentmindedly stroking his hip bone. The time before that, Rex could barely breathe as she traced the outlines of the glowing bones that Stitches had carefully painted along the bodysuit.
He doesn’t kid himself. He knows better than to think she’s actually interested in him. For as long as he’s fought alongside her, she’s enjoyed throwing herself fully into whatever role is asked of her. Surely this mission is no different.
(or: the worst mission of Rex’s post-war life. Seriously, free this man from all this sexual tension.)

Summary
How long had it been? Time had passed, but he couldn’t tell how much. It was still plenty bright out, but he couldn’t muster the strength to look up. All he could do was just keep going forward. His mind unable to form much coherent thought.
His vision blurred as his legs finally gave out, crashing to the floor of the forest. He struggled to move, but only managed to roll onto his back. He gazed at the sky, trying to take deep breaths but was relegated to shallow pants by the horrid pain in his chest.
He heard the sound of running water close by. He turned his head slightly, seeing that he had somehow made his way to a small river.
Crosshair once again finds himself in an inescapable situation, but this time, his brothers may not be there in time to save him. But Tech refuses to give up on his brother. Will it be enough to guide his lost sibling home? Or had he already drifted too far.

The 501st had gotten a mission to go and retrieve data from a Separatist base that contained information on multiple important droid factories. Only needing one of the Domino Twins for this particular mission, Echo is chosen to stay behind. Fives and the other clones chosen for that mission end up completing the mission, but do not return home completely unscathed.
Despite this, Echo will always be there when Fives needs him most.
