first fic ive ever written sorry y’all. rlly short chapters for the first like 5 then it actually picks up.
Hunter returned to Belos after the events of Hollow Mind. His creator ensured that he knew that he was a created being, *his* created being, and therefore disposable.
And then the Emperor died; leaving what’s left of the Golden Guard stuck in the human realm with the Hexsquad. He still hasn’t wrapped his head around that, but he knows he isn’t safe here. Not without rules, his creator, his purpose.

Luz Noceda is ripped from her home when she is a child, she is taken in by Belos to become the New Silver Guard. In this new world all she has to going too is her new family, Hunter and Emperor Belos, life is harsh here but she manages, for a long time but things get complicated when she meets a kind older witch, who takes a liking to her.
This is an AU that takes place before the events of the show, it follows Luz and Hunter as they are raised by Belos to be the Gold and Silver Guard, it will go from Luz arriving in the boiling isles to right before the show where a sequel fic will continue.
This fic is on pause for the foreseeable future. I am sorry, something about this fic just couldn’t stick with me and I’ve had immense difficulty trying to write for it. Sorry to those who got invested.
