Something felt... strange.
Strange in the way the bar's warm light settled over Tenna's hands.
In the way those same hands had remained wrapped tightly around their glass for several minutes now, slowly turning it between their fingers. The ice cubes clinked against the crystal before sinking back into the amber liquor.
Spamton liked this place. Nobody paid any attention to two coworkers grabbing a drink after work. Nobody really looked at Tenna.
Maybe that was why Tenna seemed... more relaxed. Well. As relaxed as Tenna could be.
