Summary
Suddenly needing to be even closer, Mike leans down until their chests are almost brushing, one forearm resting right by Harvey's head and caging him in, unwilling to pull his other hand away from where it's stuck to Harvey's waist. This close, he can clearly see how Harvey's pupils dilate, eyes flicking between Mike’s eyes and mouth.
"Light it up for me, baby?" Mike purposely pitches his voice a little lower just to see how Harvey reacts, drinking in how the older man shivers and how his pink tongue swipes across pinker lips at being called a petname. He's incredibly glad the joint is taking up most of the muscles in his mouth- otherwise he'd be grinning something terrible.
Harvey Specter likes being called baby. A voice sings in his brain, terrifyingly similar to the one that had pointed out the way Harvey chased his mouth after every touch, Harvey Specter wants to be good for you and wants you to call him baby.
or: Harvey Specter wants to learn how to shotgun. Mike Ross is more than willing to teach him. They both end up getting more than they bargained for.

It wasn’t like he hadn’t been heading toward disaster all night. Donna had warned him with that look—the one that said "you’re cruising for a lawsuit, Harvey," without opening her mouth. He’d ignored her. He’d ignored the first four fingers of scotch. He’d ignored the second text from Michelle, or maybe it was Melinda, or Maria. Whatever. The point is, he meant to send that picture to someone who already knew what they were getting into. Who’d seen it before. Who’d appreciate it, even if only with a bored emoji or a late-night come-through.
Instead, Harvey Specter, senior goddamn partner, sent a dick pic to Mike goddamn Ross.

Part 12 of my "Our Song(s)" series of one-shots based on Taylor Swift songs. Lyrics are woven throughout, but you don't need to be a fan to read it. This one is based on "Honey."
-It started as a joke. Mike waved a file erratically when he shouted in a sing-song voice, “Honey, I’m home!”
Harvey sucked in a barely audible breath, schooling his expression before Mike noticed. Instead, he leveled his most menacing glare at his associate.
“Call me that again, and I will throw you off the balcony,” Harvey hissed.
Mike saw right through his bluff, slinking up to Harvey with a lopsided grin. He caressed Harvey’s face.
Mike’s voice was soft as butter as he gently said, “Oh, honey, don’t be like that. Your life would be way too boring without me in it.” -

The HR rep, a soft-voiced woman with the name tag Karen, sat beside Jessica with a legal pad and a cup of peppermint tea.
Mike paused in the doorway, suddenly aware of how out of place he must look, how guilty he probably looked despite having no idea what he was walking into. Karen offered him a gentle smile that felt all wrong.
"Mike, please. Have a seat."
He sat. Jessica gave him a small nod that didn’t comfort him at all.
"Mike," Karen began, her voice warm in a way that made him think of guidance counselors and pamphlets about coping with stress. "We asked you here because some concerns have been raised. About you. And about Harvey Specter."
"What concerns?"
Karen inhaled. "There have been rumors circulating. About Mr. Specter possibly... pressuring you. Into a relationship of a sexual nature."

Just as the elevator doors were about to shut, a hand appeared between the doors, doors opening to reveal none other than Harvey Specter standing there.
He walked into the elevator shaft offering a soft ‘morning’ which Mike’s brain unhelpfully pointed out as being said in the exact tone as dream Harvey. Mike felt a flush appear at the thought and quickly darted his head down in an attempt to hide it, offering a curt nod instead of a reply.
He really wasn’t going to survive today.

Summary
Mike encounters an interesting woman trying to play cupid and match her daughter with the perfect man. After a set of several failed interviews, the most handsome and perfect guy Mike has ever seen, walks in and sweeps her off her feet. Interested now, Mike decides to try his hand with the daughter, against the mom's wishes. It soon turns into a competition between him and the snobby lawyer the mother chose for her daughter.
Surprisingly, the daughter accepts his one date and soon they are lovingly together... that is until he realizes, he isn't the only one falling into bed with her.
Heartbroken – and with the only person that understands his pain being that lawyer – Mike ends up getting closer to the other man, realizing that what he thought was only good-nature rivalry, ends up being much more than that.
OR: Mike wanted to prove he was the better choice for a rich woman's daughter; better than the rich snobby lawyer she had eagerly chosen, but ends up being him the one that is the better choice for Harvey.

And it was. Don’t get him wrong, Harvey loved plants as much as the next person, but when those plants wore napkins as scarves and had googly eyes pasted onto their pseudo face, it was his sworn duty to inform the owner how fucking ugly it was.
”What is?” Rude. His partner barely looks up to greet him.
