Summary

Sometimes — most times — they were just colleagues. Occasionally, though, Aziraphale grew bolder. Occasionally, there were nights when the angel showed up, never asking, simply leading Crowley to the bedroom to take what Crowley always wanted to give.
And then there were those handful of times — rare, precious, dreamlike — when Aziraphale completely threw caution to the wind and suddenly a night would turn into morning, turn into dinner, turn into sharing a home. Crowley had always been beautiful. Aziraphale had never questioned that, had known it from the moment they'd met. Crowley was funny, and inquisitive, and a show-off, and beautiful. Aziraphale just hadn’t ever stopped to think about what that really meant, for him.
