“If that’s true,” Oscar starts, drawing out the words in that stupid Australian accent of his. “Then why are you always asking Will for help on the radio?”
Lando’s actually speechless for a moment.
Fuck this guy, Lando thinks, glaring at Oscar.

Lando's the reigning world champion. Oscar's his new race engineer. They do not work together well. But they have one goal. Make Lando a back-to-back World Champion.
Cue teambuilding, radio fights, Lando and Daniel fighting for the title and Oscar and Lando learning to be a team.

Oscar Piastri is the nicest human Lando has ever met. He doesn't mind picking up the hoodies Lando throws on the floor and forgets about. He makes extras of the food Lando likes for the next morning. He throws Lando's laundry in with his when he knows the other is busy.
Thing is, Oscar Piastri is not a human at all.
