“Alright, everyone,” Shane begins, hands on his hips. “Listen carefully because I will not repeat myself. We are here for one purpose: to get the basics for the new player/family lounge. Not your apartments, not your bedrooms, not anything that looks like it belongs in a Pinterest board or on TikTok. I’m talking chairs, tables, lighting, maybe some storage, and functional decor. Functional.”
Ilya is immediately behind him, arms crossed, shaking his head, eyebrows raised, and making faces that scream: this is going to be a disaster. Every time Shane emphasizes a word, Ilya mirrors him silently, making exaggerated gestures, like he’s mocking a very serious, very unfunny performance.
Bood leans on Barrett and whispers, “Is he actually serious?”
Barrett snickers. “Looks serious, but we all know the chaos is inevitable."

Because even when the rivalry cools down, Shane and Ilya still manage to turn the most ordinary parts of life, shopping trips, cooking, and arguing over household decisions, into something chaotic, affectionate, and very them.

Summary
“Hey.” A voice invades Jeongguk’s thoughts and a hand taps his arm. Jeongguk jolts so suddenly at the touch that the man in front of him is taken aback and has to hold onto the edge of the wooden table to keep his balance. Jeongguk isn’t able to recollect the last time someone touched him. “Are you okay?”
Jeongguk swallows and furrows his brows because he’s not sure why the man’s asking. Sure, he had his head on his arms, but they work in a fast paced entertainment company, of course everyone’s going to look a little tired. It’s not until the man’s pulling a tissue from his pocket that Jeongguk realises his thoughts from earlier manifested into tear tracks down his cheeks.
Jeongguk takes the tissue and coughs awkwardly. “I’m okay. Thank you.” His tired voice lets out barely above a whisper.
Jeongguk is a sad sad boy overworking himself and he finds some people who might actually help him.
