While on a mission for the Church of the True Eye, Medkit encounters Ban Hammer. Reluctantly, the two make a deal rooted in exchanging information, but this deal may cause them to grow much closer than either of them expected.

So he would hear, and he'd listen.
He wouldn't try to find or bother Andrew.4 years ago, he would've broken down if you told him he was capable of being better. Would've told you you're lying to him.
Now, if you said that, he'd just smile and say he's already become better– and filled that void where the unhappiness used to settle.

Out of the five bishops of the old faith it was Shamura was the most likely to receive these prophecies. Many trusted in Shamura’s words, they foresaw each and every one of his siblings, they prophesied the formation of the old faith, they raised each and every bishop of the old faith.
So, when Shamura voiced concerned about a prophecy they foresaw, the five bishops agreed to gathered at the temple within the silk cradle.

I love this fic very much. I really hope you finish it.
It was very exciting to read. The scene with Narinder having a breakdown and destroying everything in his room felt very realistic and honestly I relate to him a lot.
July 2025 update: I've reread this fic about a hundred times already. I love them so much. I don't know if you're still working on this but I really want to know how it ends.

A probably OOC what-if for if Ivan didn’t go through with taking his life at the end of scene 16. Happier than canon, but not intended to be without strife for these characters. Written because I prefer endings where there’s hope for the character to improve, even if in canon they probably aren’t willing to face such change.
