Actually, they were the last words he heard from anyone other than himself for months.Heartbroken that in the face of yet another apocalypse, Lila would choose Diego over himself, Five finds himself in a timeline comprising only of other Fives. He is immediately recruited into helping them fix the timeline by preventing marigold from ever giving them powers. Only the longer he puts off his responsibility in his own timeline, the more he uncovers the sick truth of precisely why there are so many Fives loitering around in one timeline.

Summary
The creator of the cannon of his series is a horrible person. I want to make it clear, from what I know, it is horrible and he should not be endorsed at all. With this in mind, I shall leave this content available. But I do not know if I shall continue writing in it given everything.
If there is requests or something akin to it, then I may consider adding more, but I am unsure. If you have opinions on how I should handle this (closing requests entirely, continuing on, etc) please comment it on any chapter. It is utterly horrific (from what I have heard, being unable to read the information directly for fear of intensely triggering myself) and such behaviours should not and will not be supported in anyway.

Edwin considered this. “That sounds like a godawful malady.”
“It’s exactly what you’re describing! Edwin. Most people call them butterflies.”
“Oh.” Edwin paused. “I prefer my descriptor. Luna moths are larger, and their wings are stronger; they have a distinct shape that would produce such a massive scale of sensation, and they glow during the midnight hours. I certainly feel as though I am lighting up with an electrical force.”
Charles fiddled with Edwin’s fingers. “I like the sound of that better, too."

Edwin had told Charles he was in love with him. So why didn't he act like it? He squeezes his eyes closed for a moment, trying not to think about how terribly he wanted Edwin's hands in his hair.
Then he stands and sits on the desk as Edwin takes the chair. "So, where have you been?" He tries to ask it like he's not all too concerned about it, looking away and playing with his thumbs. He thinks it only makes him look more desperate for the answer.
Edwin's quiet for so long Charles flicks his gaze to Edwin. He was staring at Charles curiously, as if trying to puzzle him out. "I was... with a friend."

Five had always understood, in an abstract sort of way, why she might be attractive to someone else. Pretty like something poisonous; compelling like the urge to put your hand through a naked flame to test whether it’s as hot as you think it might be. But she’d been a thorn in his side more than anything, irritating one another through mere proximity, and at no point had he contemplated anything ever happening between them. Neither the desire nor the opportunity had ever presented themselves in earnest.
That was then, though, and this is now: the heart wants what it wants, as the saying goes, and Five wants with a whole lot more of him than that.
