Summary
Edgeworth refuses to conform in Von Karma's beliefs on how to be a prosecutor causing him to be disowned. He takes up a fake name, trying to start a new life as a different person. He accidentally wanders into a bakery run by his old childhood friend, Phoenix, who hires him as an assistant. As he works under Phoenix, they become close and start to fall in love. But Edgeworth doesn't know if it is right to give into his feelings when he is lying to Phoenix.
How long can he keep up this lie?

"Hey, Edgeworth. Let's put it aside for now," Phoenix suggested gently, nervousness tugging at his stomach as the prosecutor silently stared down at the evidence. "I know it's a lot and we've been fully immersed in it for days, just give yourself a break for a second." Silence stretched out as Miles did not move. "Edgeworth?" Phoenix set the glasses down. "Hey, Miles?" At that, Miles looked up abruptly, looking as though he'd been wounded himself. "What are you thinking about?" Phoenix asked quietly, holding his gaze with the utmost gravity.
Alternatively, Phoenix and Miles are hit with the aftermath of finally putting the DL-6 case to rest.

For all the grief Miles had given him over his questionable study habits, he still, inexplicably, had absolute faith in that man.
Because if Miles believed in anything, it was that Phoenix Wright could pull off the impossible when it mattered most.
That said, watching him unravel in real time did little to inspire calm.Phoenix is about to find out whether he passed the bar exam for the second time. Naturally, feelings are involved.
