Summary
Legosi Larson, Conduit of String, lives a simple double life of crime-fighting and being Cherryton's number one loser. Growing up near the Black Market and losing both his father and mother to tragic events, he knows that the life of being a preppy kid doesn't suit him, especially when he has a severe case of hero complex and an attitude to give when others annoy him, blaming it all on his autism. They called him the Spider, the silver thread. Worrying about others around him while he wishes to prove something in his life, he doesn't know yet, and just blames it on his autism.
To make matters worse, he has a crush on a gazelle-leopard hybrid by the name of Malcom Slone, or as he likes to be called Melon, who is four years older than him, and another conduit vigilante than him with some loosme screws, the conduit of blood, the blood sport, the vampire. Someone with their own personal demons and fighting to not become like his mother and father, that hurt him in no way a parent should hurt a child of theirs.
Together they will stop a plot to destroy the city as more than friends.

Summary
Legoshi had big plans for the new semester—he was going to become more confident, say yes to new experiences, not spill a single drink, and hopefully step into a new era of getting laid every night.
Which doesn't go as planned because everything is an uphill battle for a wolf who constantly apologizes to trees he walks into, for tripping over air, for breathing too loud, for merely existing.
Melon, the new, hot hybrid transfer student, practically walks on water. He never trips, never stumbles, never walks into anything, has a regal air to him, and moves with a grace and confidence Legoshi could only wish he had a crumb of—the memory of a crumb, actually, because he could never dare to be that greedy.
No one would have ever guessed that they would cross paths, but the universe works in chaotic ways and after multiple (disastrous) encounters, Legoshi achieves the goal that started it all, but in the process, gets a lot more than he bargained for.
But it’s autumn.
And chaos is in season.

Or the college AU where Legoshi tried to hoe around and find out, and the universe gave him Melon, the inability to walk, and an aching hole that will never know peace again instead.

The reality when it comes to pain and suffering is that it’s not about deciding who has it worse and picking whose turn it is to hurt—it’s about not knowing how to swim and being afraid to drown, and still deciding to jump in anyways when someone else is because you refuse to watch them drown.”
Melon shouldn’t be alive. Legoshi shouldn’t be standing.
But when corruption runs deeper than blood and society decides who's worth protecting and who gets thrown away, sometimes hope becomes an act of defiance, and the greatest act of rebellion comes not from breaking, but from refusing to break at all.
And sometimes, sometimes, the most powerful reckoning society has ever seen starts between the cracks in the pavement where a small yellow flower dares to bloom.

He was gone.
Legoshi was dead, and he would not be coming back. Haru tried to move on, but it was just too painful. She felt more alone than ever, and she just wanted her wolf back. She would give anything to have him back, but she knew he would never be back.
In her despair, she goes to Melon, the one who killed her wolf, and lets him cook her. In her final moments, her final thoughts are of him.
When she open her eyes again, she meets her wolf once more. Not in heaven, but laying by her side in a motel's bedroom, with a bruised face and asking her if she wants to go back to school now.
Somehow, she is back in the past, and she has a chance to change Legoshi's fate. But, can she overcome her own struggles and doubts, her own insecurities and weaknesses, and create a happy ending for them? Or will they end up worse than before?

Summary
In an alternate universe where a special pill allows for herbivores to reform after being devoured, predation is not as much of a tabboo in this world, as long as it is willing.
Legoshi and his friends, upon stumbling on the Black Market, the "Meat Red Light District" of the city, has his first close witness of a herbivore being cooked and eaten. And the experience awakens something in him. A strong desire he cannot resist.
However, this is not the desire to eat, but to be eaten.
