I Am All (The Subjects) You Have: Prospero and Caliban, more than Master and Slave by Methodical_Exordium

Summary
Academic essay on Act I, Scene 2.
Despite being ostensibly master and slave, Prospero and Caliban subvert the differences and hierarchies that are presumed and demanded by the colonialist-antiblack framework of slavery. Close examination of their exchange in lines 307-375, in fact, leads to doubt of the very foundations of the European-hegemonic reasoning used to justify slavery.

Summary
The villager-illager war has ended, but things are not simple for the survivors. Many have perished; many are orphaned; still others are lost. The war clings to them. The decisive combatants of the war - the players - are also a looming threat to all.
Tension runs high. There are some who choose a peaceful compromise, and some who fight bitterly. Others have formed solitary agendas with room for themselves only.
Yet, for each and every of these villagers, illagers, and witches, there might remain a chance to find meaning in a world as vast as it is cruel.

Summary
In an effort to locate the Doors of Death, Nico and Minos traverse Tartarus together. The duo fares much better than Nico alone would have.
An unsettlingly diverse plethora of obscure deities, monsters, giants, and heroes seem oddly invested in the two demigods, though.
