Summary
The coming of peace wrought hardships for those who were once Decepticons, Megatron was no exception. The council of the new Cybertron demands justice and Optimus has no choice but to oblige, and sentences Megatron to a thousand years of rehabilitation. But it was not as simple as it seemed.
Starscream, recently released from prison, is prepared to start a life of freedom. Yet when he finds himself face to face with a now destroyed, and tortured Megatron, he becomes the subject of an extremely risky rescue.
Or
Megatron is sentenced to torture, under the guise of reconditioning, and is almost a shell of his former self. Starscream, newly released from prison, takes it upon himself to save his former master and all that comes with him.

Megatron narrowed his eyes, but it was clear he was in no position to argue. “It wasn’t like–” He stopped, shaking his head. “You wouldn’t listen anyway, would you?”
Starscream grinned, already enjoying this. “No, I wouldn’t.”

A few months after the trial, Megatron is aboard the Lost Light and Starscream continues his rule as Cybertron’s leader. Things are going better than expected for the Seeker- that is until, he gets an emergency hail from Optimus Prime, with some interesting news.
Megatron is carrying, and no longer fit to continue his mission upon the Lost Light. With execution no longer an option, he is brought back before Starscream to decide his fate.
Things get…interesting.

Summary
The war is over. The Autobots won. Optimus thought they'd finally have a chance to rebuild their world the right way, but the Council threatens to sabotage the fragile peace at every step. Megatron's been sentenced to a life of labor in the mines, and no one seems interested in rehabilitating the captured Decepticons.
When Megatron asks him for help, Optimus finds himself facing an impossible choice. Confronted with the Decepticons' ugly post-war reality, he can't keep standing by. Especially once he learns about the sparkling Megatron's carrying.
Peace was meant to fix everything, but it may be that the revolution has only just started…
