Summary
Three weeks ago Dean had his first heat post-Hell which he shared, against the advice of Sam and Bobby, with a certain Angel of the Lord.
Newly mated, Dean and the rest of 'Team Free Will' (along with the help of Heaven) race against the Demon hordes to stop them from breaking the 66 seals meant to keep Lucifer in the cage.
The Biblical Apocalypse looms closer with each day that passes and each seal that's broken.
And if that weren't enough, Angels, Demons, and every other supernatural creature is on the edge of their seat with the news that a Nephilim has come into being. Each side hoping to either kill the abomination or use it to win the war.
Oh, did Dean mention he’s pregnant.

Summary
After a very awkward car ride with a heat drunk Dean, Sam and Cas successfully deliver Dean to Bobby Singer's to finish out his heat.
Dean, mostly sober and mortified, would like nothing more than for Cas to help him through it. And while Cas seems eager to please, Bobby and Sam are not so thrilled with the idea.

“You should really find an alpha.”
Dean’s munching and almost chokes when his long-time best friend says that on the phone. She’s out of her mind, isn’t she? She must be kidding. He casts a glance to Sammy, who, half asleep, is crashing on the couch, and goes straight to the kitchen. His brother doesn’t need to be jerked awake because Charlie lacks common sense.
The poor bastard already has cancer.
“Wanna repeat that?” and that is a threat.Dean needs money for his brother's chemo. Among the many things he can't do taking out a loan is one of them. (Being an omega sucks). Castiel is trying to adopt an orphan. Among the few things he can't do adopting a kid is one of them. (Being an alpha doesn't suck, but in this particular instance doesn't help either).

At his brother’s encouragement, Dean is on his own for the first time, going to college the way he never thought he would, but… something is wrong. Despite being an omega, he’s been feeling more and more aggressive lately and it’s been leading to him getting into fights increasingly often. If he keeps going this way, he’s going to get expelled and it was hard enough to find a college that would accept an omega that also had the certification program he wanted in the first place. His dorm leader, at his wits’ end from dealing with this, kicks Dean out of the dorm and into a different one so he can be somebody else’s problem. That’s when Dean meets the alpha Castiel Novak. And nothing would ever be the same again.

Summary
2014, Camp Chitaqua. Upon meeting the past version of Dean sent by Zachariah, Castiel knows only one thing for certain:
Very soon, he's going to die.
So he decides he might as well go out with a bang and enjoy one last night on Earth with this more innocent, less cynical Dean.
What he doesn't expect is for a single night of desperate passion to leave him pregnant, carrying a child who ends up saving both his and Dean's lives.
2015, Lebanon, Kansas. Castiel, Dean and Sam have been carrying on with "saving people, hunting things" along with dodging one apocalypse after another for years. While hunkered down in the bunker recovering from Rowena's mad dog spell, Cas is surprised to have another Dean, along with a heavily pregnant version of himself, come stumbling through a fiery rift and into their lives.
In the process of preparing for the birth of a powerful nephil, secrets of the past are revealed and relationships put to the test in ways none of them could have ever anticipated. Meanwhile, the threat of The Darkness looms and leaves them wondering: could this child be the one to save them all?

Imagines/fills in the gaps of the 12 year relationship between Dean Winchester and Castiel that led to the "Despair" confession scene and envisions that the confession scene was really just the culmination of a physical relationship/"profound bond" that turned into something else (for both of them). Canon-compliant, just "in between" that canon.
