Summary
Wishes are made aplenty across the realm of the Twins, but they are shallow, contradictory things made flippantly by the people everyday. But what if, at one pivotal moment in time, there was a wish that everyone shared? What if that one singular wish was echoed between thousands of threads of consciousness across both Storm and Ash? What if that wish had the added benefit of being backed by the aether gathered from the land for nigh on a millennia?
Or when Clive aims to destroy Origin's core, he is beset with a momentary human lapse of sorrow for those gone and everyone agrees that it is a shame. So why not make it so that doesn't happen? Thus he, Joshua, and Jill are thrust into the past, back when the talk of war with the Iron Kingdom was still nebulous and the events at Phoenix Gate have yet to happen.

Ash loves to send Gary letters, especially now they are regions apart, with Ash in Alola and Gary in Sinnoh. Unfortunately, Ash also speaks far more languages than Gary, so instead of writing his letters in languages both speak, he has elected to speak in whatever languages he can come up with that Gary doesn't speak, all for the purposes of messing with his friend.
