TagsSummaryHe takes a few deep breaths and stares at the… Fount. That is the Fount of Knowledge sitting there, in a plush seat next to the bed he’d been strapped to, face just as placid as he’d always thought to make it appear in the ancient days when it was him in those robes. He is almost radiant in this light, the sunbeams that stream through the window catching the curling cloud-like waves of his hair in the perfect way to bring out its stars. There was a time when he would spend hours studying the position of them, mapping constellations in his mirror. The lights have long since been snuffed out but the memory stayed, it plays itself again right before his eyes. It’s like looking through a window right to his past. What the hell. •··········•✦•··········• Or, Shadow Milk Cookie wakes to find himself a long way from home, and his best shot at getting back is playing nice with one of the cookies he despises the most. Himself. Bookmarked by MirroredStars14 Oct 2025

TagsSummary“Call me a Healer.” The Healer replied, offering a polite smile. Did he not have a name? Where did he come from? What kind of sickness did infect his eyes — could he cure it? Why a Healer? Questions raced through the Fount’s head as he gazed at the mortal in front of him. A new riddle for him to solve. A new puzzle to put together. New knowledge to feast upon. His eyes flashed with hunger akin to a beast. -- OR: an alternative universe where Pure Vanilla had a past life (Healer cookie) during the time of the slow downfall of the Virtues — the two fell in love despite the world around them crumbling.

TagsSummaryIn which Sage of Truth-esque Shadow Milk (not a soul jam holder) finds himself as the Beast of Deceit Shadow Milk was a ‘normal cookie’; he often found it funny that he shared the same name as a character from a novel he read. Friends and students alike frequently teased him for it. But alas, he was a teacher at heart, and there was no way in his mind that he would torment someone so kind-hearted who believed in the truth. After all, Pure Vanilla was such a charming character that he was swayed by his lowest and cried at his peaks when he overcame his suffering. This is why it was distressing to find himself as an astral projection watching over Pure Vanilla in a world where he was still known as “Healer Cookie.” With a book in his hands, he was given a checklist of requirements. Oh- He was Shadow Milk Cookie, from the novel. Shouldn’t he be given a script? Witches, where would he even begin? He was a performer at heart, but in something so life-like, he might have been given an impossible task. Please let this be a lie, or a dream. Yes, a dream was better. - Language:

TagsSummary"There's also some texts that are in languages we can't decipher, and I heard you mention..” Pure Vanilla trails off, losing his thought process a little. Shadow Milk's ears perk up from the mention of different languages, as that’s something he’s always been quite fond of. “Language deciphering you say~?” he floats down so that he’s at Pure Vanillas eye level, a big smile on his face like he never was unhappy 5 minutes ago. Pure Vanilla doesn’t flinch at the sudden proximity, instead he smiles kindly and simply nods.
“Yes, we thought that perhaps you could help us in that department.” His voice gentle, and Shadow Milk ignores the strange feeling his stomach always gets whenever Pure Vanilla is so gentle with him. Because it's stupid.-----other summery :) ----
Basically Shadow Milk messes up and sends Pure Vanilla and White Lily back in time. This sets off a huge set of events in the stressful times of war.-Title is the song «Another Believer» by Rufus Wainwright from Meet the Robinsons :)

TagsSummary“You dressed up for me, didn’t you?” The prince flushed instantly—cheeks warm, ears turning red beneath the fall of gold in his hair. “I—I did not,” he managed, far too quickly. The stranger froze. Only for a blink. A breath. And then—He howled. A laugh tore from his chest—loud and wild. Not the sly little chuckle he usually exhaled, but something full-bodied and absolutely delighted. “You—you actually did!” he gasped, clutching his stomach as if the absurdity physically hurt him. “Oh, witches, I was only teasing! I didn’t think—oh, you dumb, dumb prince!” Pure Vanilla, still very much crimson-faced, crossed his arms lightly, trying—and failing—not to let the corner of his mouth twitch. “I did not dress up for you,” he repeated, softer this time. The thief wiped the corner of his eye, breath hitching between the remains of his laughter. “Oh, please, don’t lie to me now, little prince. I’m already touched.” He sat up straighter, juggling his half-eaten apple as if he was a jester in mid act. “You waltzed into the woods looking almost like a bride, I mean! Witches! You’ve got enough metal on you to ransom a kingdom!" Series- Part 6 of My Cookie Works

TagsSummaryShadow Milk had felt it, even then—the doubt. Buried deep, but still present. Like a line of tension held behind the heart. Pure Vanilla had feared for the world. Shadow Milk had tasted that fear in his pulse, smelled it in the way his body tensed before the end. He had wondered—of course he had—what would become of everything once the Light of Knowledge returned to its rightful God. Wondered if ruin would follow. If blood would fall like rain. And maybe, in another world, he would have acted on that fear. Maybe, in a world where fake kindness didn't lull him into selfishness, where the promise of rest didn't make him yearn, where his God’s claws didn't feel as comforting… he would have asked. (“What… will you do with your power back?”) Maybe he would have spoken. Maybe he would have fought. But not in this one. Not in the world where Shadow Milk’s palm cradled him like a shrine. Not in the moment where his head was gently stroked by a claw that could tear through mountains. In this world, he was selfish. Series- Part 2 of Deceit's Sacrificial Lamb Works
