Summary
Let me make some stuff clear. The main MC is Shi Qingxuan and He Xuan, but i want this fic to open up or be the 'beginning' of my Apothecary Diaries x Heaven Official's Blessing fic series.
Each Fic takes in just about the same world, diff times (or at the same time but different place) . This one WILL be long; the others may be oneshots or have open endings(sometimes in the same settings but different timelines or POVs,a few retellings maybe)
also TAD takes place in a nation named Li (i think)
so uh, both TAD and Tgcf take place in places inspired by China, so I smushed them into one. Think of it as an even more ancient TAD universe with tgcf's Heaven above them. Post Blackwater Arc, like a solid 2 days after the blackwater arc. TAD takes place prior season two. also, I'd like to say, jus bc this is the first fic in this series it doesn't mean it's the first in the timeline!!!

basically, this takes place in world of oppression, and it focuses on normal people trying to live but getting caught up darker themes, romance might actually be a sub plot but it will appear and take the stage in later chapters.
pretty gorey overall but itll be soft at times, also this has multi perspective so there are a lot of unreliable narrators in here
