Summary
Since Luna-1, no one knows what to do about Pharma. The rogue doctor awaits his pending fate in a cell on the Lost Light, with his wings bound and alt-mode restricted. After the apocalyptic events of Dark Cybertron, Pharma doesn’t expect he’ll survive to trial. Even Megatron’s fate has been put on hold until Prime and the Autobots salvage a legal system. In the interim, the Lost Light remains grounded. Injured and infirm bots overrun the med bay team. Since they can’t depart Cybertron until the ship, crew, and allies are up and running, Ratchet suggests they put their captive surgeon to work. First Aid is less than pleased.
For his part, Pharma never thought he’d join a quest. He knows he won’t last long once his past–and the D.J.D.–catches up with him. It’s only a matter of time.

Summary
Hal Jordan was dying long before a mission went wrong and his heart finally gave out.
He was dying when he signed the divorce papers. Dying without making it anyone else’s problem.
No one Noticed.
Not Bruce. Not Clark. Not the Justice League.And Hal was fine with that because twenty months ago he signed away the right to have anyone worry about him.
He would have kept it that way, too If he hadn’t burned himself out saving the world. If he hadn’t collapsed hard enough that everyone finally had to look.
Now Bruce and Clark are hovering like they never spent nearly two years avoiding him. Acting like this is their burden to carry, like they didn’t already decide, once, that letting him go was easier than staying.
Hal doesn’t understand it. There’s no cure. If Oa hasn’t found one, there’s no point in pretending otherwise. He’s made peace with dying.
Bruce and Clark haven’t.
They refuse to give up on him the way they gave up on the marriage. And that more than the poison in his blood or the ache in his chest is what hurts the most.
Because Hal is still in love with them. And loving them while they fight to save him might be the one thing he can’t survive.
