Summary
Tommy Innit has struggled to make ends meet for years. When he finds a neat looking pocket watch at the end of his shift, he thinks he's struck gold. Quite literally, actually.
Instead, he gets yanked into an alternate reality where the gods are real and he's a very-much-alive version of their dead brother. Oh, and also he steals from them by accident, gains their unadulterated attention (it goes badly), and needs to discover his own way home while avoiding the deities he's spited. Maybe he'll survive by making what few friends he can along the way. ...Though, that's not even mentioning the freaky fucking god stalking his dreams.
Life is just peachy like that, isn't it?

“Hello?” The voice called again. “Tommy? You up yet? Dad made pancakes, you don’t wanna miss it.”
There were a lot of things wrong with that statement. Not just that Tommy had no idea where he was and didn’t know this person, even though they were speaking like the opposite was true. No, the main problem was that Tommy didn’t have a dad.
His parents gave him away as soon as he was born. He’d been passed around the foster system for most of his childhood until, just two months ago, he’d gotten emancipated. With the little money he’d had, he’d moved into the apartment he currently lived in.
Point is, Tommy doesn’t have parents and he certainly never has the money for breakfast or pancakes.

After getting emancipated from the foster system at seventeen, Tommy is convinced he’s going to spend the rest of his life alone.
That changes when one day, he wakes up in a different dimension, one set in medieval times, one with magic, and more importantly, one where he has a family. Despite the fact that Tommy never existed there in the first place.
Miscommunication, hurt/comfort, and found family occur.

It was surprisingly hard to keep a vigilante presence off the radar.
Somehow, it was when Tommy was using his identity that could literally turn invisible, that he’d been almost immediately clocked by the heroes. He’d really only been just starting to have a presence when the heroes cornered him about it. Surprisingly, instead of attempting arrest, they’d recruited him. And who was he to say no to free access to the hero database and nice bathrooms?
One power per secret identity, that was his rule, and he still had a couple more up his sleeve. The heroes could have one. As a treat. He was generous like that. He’d just take more care to keep his other identities off the radar.
Simple.
If only things worked out as planned. Somehow, it hadn’t taken long for his next vigilante persona to be noticed as well, though not by heroes this time.
“I hear you talk to ghosts.” Said a deadpan voice.--
Tommy can't help wanting to help, and he keeps getting powers so why not have more than one secret identity, yeah? Hero, vigilante, villain, coffee barista, and maybe one other.
Or I read so, so many vigilante fics that I caved in and stuffed all of my ideas into one fic.

Oh and the fact that he’s now living in a basement with the 7 little shits he subconsciously adopted along with the support of a bunch of 17 year old teenagers, an exasperated aunt, and a chill older sister?Life could not be crazier, but it’s not the worst thing.
