Armies poured out of the gap, with endless soldiers and steeds readied to march upon the corpse of a fractured realm. If a divided Earth Kingdom must bleed to rectify the mistakes of a nation torn asunder, so be it.

Summary
As far as General Iroh is concerned, even a member of Ba Sing Se's totalitarian, brainwashing, extremely dangerous secret police deserves to meet a special someone. It all leads to a wonderful, crazy, painful, confusing summer of love, for both an ordinary Lower Ring spice seller by the name of Rajata, and even more so for Hong Yan-the Dai Li agent who dared to differ. Lots of appearances by canon characters!

He would not make their mistake.A one-off featuring filial piety, explicit (!) concubine consummating, chariot racing, Papers Please border control, and a feast where everyone gets killed and their heads turned into volleyballs. And Avatar Kyoshi playing Go with the Earth King.

Avatar Kyoshi, 228, gets informed the Air Nomads have withdrawn their support of her in protest for her choice of conduct (killing one too many sons of rebel warlords is bad).In the Earth Kingdom, this is an act of rebellion.
Avatar Kyoshi handles the problem like she would any other rebellion.
Some of her best Dai Li agents come along.
As does Lao Tieguai, the Immortal, the Spirit of Death.On her path of rebellion-quashing, she communes with Spirits, drills her Dai Li, and commands the heavens themselves.
(She and Lao Ge created the Dai Li. They don't often get the chance to crush a rebellion made of airheaded pacifists).Cao Mengde and Zhuge Kongming would be proud of her tactics and strategies.
