Summary
Multi-pov ficlets about Jason Todd's family before Bruce! Includes Good parents Catherine and Willis, the return of Nocturna, polyamorous co-parenting (Nathalie/Catherine/Willis) and Divorcee co-parenting (Nathalie and Bruce).
Eventually we'll get glimpses of Talia, Sandra, Sheila, Selina, and Bruce but those relationships will be very background. This is very Todd family focused!

Summary
Benson squinted, eyes narrowing as the sobs wracked Randy’s body. He didn’t flinch. Didn’t smile. Didn’t move. He just stared, eyes burning into the zombie’s.
Something prickled in the back of his mind. Zombies didn’t…cry. At least, not ones he’d seen. Never once had he seen an infected shake and make that wet, choking sound that belonged to someone alive, somewhere in there.
He tilted his head down slightly, studying him. The grime, the blood, the way his lips trembled, the wetness clinging to his chin. He didn’t know why it mattered, but it did. The twitching, the sobs. It was almost human. And that made Benson laugh, low and dry, a sound that rattled off the tile.
“Fuckin’ hell…” he muttered, gruff, almost to himself. “Look at you…”
Randy’s body lurched, muscles jerking as he tried to push against the pull that dragged him forward. Another sob slipped out, wet and small, and Benson’s eyes flicked along the shaking form.
He didn’t move to kill him. Didn’t aim to. Didn’t even consider it. Not yet. Whatever this was, it was new.

Doesn’t matter, though, because the answer Michael gives is a terrible one, and ends the same way: Gertrude could protect herself, Jon can’t, and he’s going to die for her sins.

Summary
The war between Earth and the battle fleet of Krypton has been going on long enough it’s hard to remember what Earth was like pre-alien invasion. Slade doesn’t mind that, as one of the metahuman supersoldiers keeping Earth from being totally crushed he gets to enjoy a few little privileges, like having a Kryptonian prisoner for his personal use. He’s tortured enough aliens over the course of the war to understand how to handle them. Red solar lights, a kryptonite collar and magic chains will keep his new toy secured. He’s not expected to get much intel out of a low-ranked foot soldier, spared by accident rather than designed. He’s a gift for Slade to work out the alien’s weaknesses. There’s one in particular he’s looking forward to exploring; Kryptonians are programmed to obey officers. As a human he looks close enough to qualify.
