Summary
Bucky didn't want much. Just to keep his head down, to sell his scavenged flowers in peace, and to stay off Shield's radar. His life would have been a lot easier if his flowers weren't dead and if being a necromancer wasn't illegal, but easy or not, he was getting by. Steve didn't want much, either. He was happy working for Shield, he had good friends, and overall his life was going just about the way he wanted it. Problem was, being happy with your life was generally an invitation for fate to throw a spanner in the works—and in Steve's specific case, it was going to be a spanner named Bucky.
(A love story about flowers, trust, and magic and the choices we make about doing what's right.)

I love how this explores character relationships in an unexpected context. Probably way too hopeful for a Lovecraft type story. Strange has an interesting line about how the characters are twisting evil powers to be used for good purposes, and I feel that sums up the story well.

Summary
They say there is a secret game in Las Vegas, the greatest one of all, in which the hero plays against the dragon for three nights, and the prize is a wish granted, and the penalty is death. A new player arrives to try his luck, only to discover that the game is held in a dump of a house in the desert and that the dragon is a dude named Dean, chained to the house by the ankle. The hero soon realizes that he cannot leave unless he wins. The dragon is growing blood-thirsty, the game makes no sense, and the hero’s only hope are the clues dropped by the dragon’s brother who’s just along for the ride.

Summary
Three weeks ago, Dean woke up in a pine box. He thought dealing with the nightmares was going to be the most difficult part of his new life after Hell, but at least they were something he could understand. Something he could deal with. Something he deserved.
Then he began having agonizing visions of crucifixion. Wounds appeared on his body out of nowhere. Wounds that refused to heal and coated his skin with the sickly sweet smell of roses.
Stigmata are said to be the marks of saints, but Dean is not a saint and the wounds are only the beginning.

Bookmarker's Notes
Dean gets the stigmata in Season 4 and is the Second Coming. I know the show eventually went with the Trials for Sam being a stigmata-like storyline, and I think every other fic I've read that has anything stigmata-like in it gives it to Sam, not Dean. So, this is a fairly unique take, both on Dean as a character, and on what 'God's Plan' was during the Apocalypse, and on what the brothers fighting in Season 4 would look like in this context.

AU after the end of Season 3. Having failed to keep the hellhounds for coming from Dean, Sam turns to classic literature to find another way to bring his brother back. Sam’s descent into the land of Hades in pursuit of his brother’s soul is about as easy as the legends suggest: unidirectional. Sam and Dean are working a case in Wyoming, but are distracted by news of a dangerous angel called "Castiel" who they can't remember ever having heard of before. The name seems a little bit familiar, but neither of the boys is sure why.
Based off of mid-season 9 (before mark of Cain, before the angel army); takes place several months later, in September 2014. Case fic wrapped in a big ol' amnesia mystery. NO SLASH; the idea is that this is something they could do on the actual show, like a 3-4 episode arc with some mini cases and a cool story running through it all. GETS VERY EMOTIONAL with super strong friendship/family themes, lotsa hurt/comfort, about three metric tons of Cas angst, feels galore, plus monsters and M&M's.

While this story could be described as a 'slow burn,' it could also be described as...it takes them one month to figure out that they should sleep with one another. But it's really a fascinating take on the psychology of being the only people left, and showcasing the survival skills of the brothers Winchester.

Dean's denial game is *very* strong. Story about a deadly orgy is much funnier than it has any right being.
