Will looked at Mike. "It's a painting I made. The one--" he paused, thinking for a second, and then continued-- "the one I brought to the airport."
Mike looked puzzled for a moment, but then he realized. "You were going to show it to me, weren't you? And I just completely brushed you off." He chuckled. "Fuck, I really was being a jerk. Can I see it now?"

She'd wear the costumes her brothers grew out of, little military uniforms and adventuring gear, using her father's old spyglass, trampling through underbrush while Daphne cried after her not to ruin her hair.
