Kylo hears cursing outside the window of the diner. Cute, feminine cursing.
Pulled over on the side of the road sits a green Jeep with wood panelling, and yelling at it as if it has done something personal to her is a small slip of a girl in cut-off shorts and cowboy boots. As she stretches to reach under the hood, one long leg sticks out behind her like a ballerina on the stage.
Kylo licks his lips and tracks the length of tan, smooth skin leading up to her round ass sitting above the grill like a cupcake on a platter. Then she’s quickly back up to standing, whipping long, brown hair over her shoulder to reveal a gorgeous face cinched tight in anger.
He’s absolutely mesmerized.

“Hello, Parkinson,” he greeted warmly, extending a hand as he walked toward her. “Good to see you.”
She shook it, struck dumb. He was taller. How was he taller than the last time she saw him? Isn’t a man’s height at 18 kind of their height for life then, the peak? And yet here he was, taller than that, fit and trim and utterly handsome in a perfectly tailored blue suit with a skinny black tie. There was an expensive watch on his wrist. He beamed at her. Her mouth went dry in panic.
“Parkinson was a chum at Hogwarts,” he explained to the group around him, who “ooo”ed kindly and smiled at her, too.
“Chums?” she repeated. No one would ever have called them chums, especially not him.
“Aye, I like to think so.” There was a sparkle in his eye - mischievous and daring. Like he wanted her to disagree with him and tell their adoring audience (HIS adoring audience) all of the horrible things she used to say and do to him in secondary school.
