Pomni is still stuck in the circus, but Abigail Brooks? She’s out there living her best life- or at least she’s trying. Still stuck in the monotonous 9-5 in Seattle, she allows herself to go through the motions, one day at a time. Forced to take the morning bus 2 hours before her shift even starts, she runs into an unusual character who breaks her cycle and maybe even her guard.

I got upset after the finale because of the obvious cutting of the full story and wanted to explore a kinda star crossed lovers route, where Pomni obvious longing for an adrenaline high is complimented by Jax’s natural impulsivity. I also wanted to see what I could do with Lee’s character since this is practically an entirely different person from the one focused on in the series. This is my first ever published fic and if it’s not terrible and I find the time maybe I’ll add more to it who knows, enjoy!

Summary
What if Pomni showed up a little earlier? and by a little, I mean right before Ribbit could abstract. The new cast member appears in the middle of the night as Ribbit is walking outside to abstract under the fake stars and, well, Ribbit's not on the edge of abstracting anymore, so that's good, right?
Jax is still not doing good, everyone is tense, and weird things are going on, but at least Ribbit is getting along well with the newbie. Maybe they'll even be able to find a way out with the power of friendship or something.
This ship is tragically underrated, even after Goose made it dubiously canon and I resign myself to being the one to bear the cross of writing it
