Summary
When his uncle died and his aunt struggled to get by after the funeral costs, he realized that this was all just a big lie. He stopped waiting and wishing and started to look for his own happiness.
His aunt was overworked and depressed and unable to pay most of the bills in time and that made Peter angry. They needed help, they needed money and he needed to get off his lazy ass and help out.
He wasn’t sure how to help but he was determent too and when he went to buy groceries and an older man in a suit hit on him it hit him.
He had to make use of his youth while he had it.When his uncle died Peter wanted to help his aunt so he turns to the internet for money and we all know what the best way is to earn internet money.

It had been weeks since he had started stalking Stark and all his lieutenants to find out about this meeting, to find the right place and time to be in position for the perfect shot.
He almost laughed as he climbed off the roof and down the fire escape. With a big grin on his face he ran around a corner only to run into another wall.
Peter gasped and stumbled backwards, falling on his ass. He almost lost his glasses but luckily they stayed on his face and he managed to push them back up before a large hand grabbed the front of his shirt and pulled him up again.

Loki made a face, “it is disgusting.”
The elders all chuckled and agreed. The Grandmaster smiled and stood from his seat, walking up to the bannister and pulling Loki with him.
“Guests! Fighters!”
Everyone went quiet even the beast he called his champion.
“Finally the time has come, the final battle is here. Our beloved champion against this contender!”
Cheers erupted once more but when the Grandmaster raised a hand they went silent again.

Peter frowned a bit at Pepper, „comfort assistant? What kind of position is that?”
The woman smiled at him, “one that gets very well paid Peter.”
He looked at the redhead again, “and this position is uh open right now?” Pepper nodded, “yes unfortunately Mr Stark’s last comfort Assistant had to quit due to family issues and he urgently needs a new one.”
Peter nodded and looked at the ad again, “sounds kind of like a service dog to me.” Pepper snorted loudly, “well in a way it is. Mr Stark is terrified of dogs though, he loves cats but cats well they are really hard to convince to work.”Peter gets a job offer he cannot turn down and though it means long work hours he is eager to get started.

Peter was so lost in his thoughts that he didn’t hear the car approaching him, he also didn’t see the lights of it and was only pulled out of the darkness of his mind when someone honked behind him.
He jumped, tripped over his legs and fell on the hard ground, effectively scratching his hands open. He cursed and hissed at the pain in his hands.

Problem is, to Loki, they feel real. Like he's a criminal, and he's been a criminal for as long as he can remember, and no, he doesn't remember being a magic-user, and he doesn't remember Sakaar.
