Summary
Johnny would do anything for dallas winston, but whenever he said anything; this isn’t what he meant.
A slow, disturbing progression of emotional manipulation, control, and eventual abuse as Dally uses Johnny’s love as a weapon.
sinister intentions, planting doubt in Johnny’s mind and creating emotional distance between friends.Tension escalates until Dally crosses a devastating line, leaving Johnny horrified and Ponyboy emotionally broken. In the aftermath, trust is shattered, and there are consequences needing to be faced —whether through confrontation, guilt, or the long path toward healing.

Ponyboy had always been a little different from the rest of his friends. It wasn't the easiest, but with the help of his brother Sodapop and his best friend Johnny Cade, he could usually figure out anything. Why did his love life need to be any different? Soda talked to girls as if it were second nature, but for some reason, his attraction leaned elsewhere.

Summary
The zombie apocalypse didn’t go down the same as it had in the books Pony read. Things were shockingly similar to normal life. The lights still worked, news still ran. Sure, cash seemed to be a thing of the past and the streets were quieter, but it didn’t seem to be all that different.
At least… Not until he has to leave Tulsa. At least he has a friend with him.

When Ponyboy has his depressive episode after Johnny's death, Darry and Soda are desperate to find any solution that will bring their brother back to them. They remember how much Pony used to like going to church, and reach out to his old pastor in the hopes he can help. The pastor quickly identifies the problem: Pony was in love with Johnny, and homosexuality is a sin. Fix the root sin, and the rest of the problems will go away. Right?

Summary
Shortly after Johnny’s death the gang changes for the worse. Steve is much more of an asshole, Two bit jokes and talks less, Dally avoids the house, and Darry is much more angrier. Sodapop isn’t even himself anymore. After an encounter that Soda will forever regret for his entire life, Ponyboy is sent into a downward spiral.

Summary
Shortly after the death of their closest friends, Darry's guardianship has been removed and Sodapop and Ponyboy must figure out how to handle the world without a stable living space. Darry, Steve, and Two-Bit fight to bring them home but the legal system is a mess that they can't figure out.
Through all of this, Pony is still coping with the amount of death he's experienced in the past year. He knows he can't rely on Soda and Darry forever.
