“There’s three different parts of this recipe; the crust, the filling, and the topping.” Techno seemed… almost nostalgic as he explained this to Tommy. “For the crust we need graham crackers, sugar, and butter. For the pie filling, we need-” Techno paused, checking the recipe book even as he rummaged through the cupboard for the graham crackers and sugar. Tommy moved to the fridge for the butter.
“Lemon juice, condensed milk, and eggs. And the topping is whipped cream.” Tommy excitedly put the butter on the counter as Techno found the sugar and graham crackers.
“Do we need the pie filling immediately?” Tommy asked, watching and waiting as patiently as he could as Techno checked the recipe book.
“No, we can wait on the filling for the moment.” Techno decided after a few minutes of reading the recipe. Tommy nodded with a smile. “Now, you are going…” Tommy chirped in confusion as Techno turned and picked him up, turning and setting Tommy on the counter. “You will sit here and help, okay?”

“I’m not a kid Siren.” “Yes you are.” Says Siren, the top villain in L’Manburg, who’s harassing Tommy for no reason. Tommy was debating the merits of punching him in the face and running.
Siren raises an unimpressed eyebrow, “You literally look 13 and have the worst sleep schedule I have ever seen, and that’s coming from someone who knows at least 5 people with insomnia.” “I’m not 13 I’m 16, and don’t know anything about my sleep schedule.” Siren only raises the eyebrow more, “I’m a phantom, Gremlin child.” “I’m not a kid.”
Tommy huffs and crosses his arms, he’s a big man, and his sleep schedule is perfectly fine (not).
Or
Wilbur, aka Siren finds a very sleep deprived avian! Tommy and proceeds to snatch him. Chaos ensues.

“Joel?” She directed the question to the officer, but both responded in unison instead.
“Yeah?”
“Sorry, can you be more specific?” The officer said quickly after.
“Well— I didn’t… I didn’t know there was more than one.” Gem replied, shifting awkwardly. “Um.. I'm not hallucinating, right?”
“Course not,” the bartender replied, “you’d better hope not. Ya’ aren’t even intoxicated yet, I’d figure.” He had a gruff, stiff accent that Gem couldn’t place. Irish, maybe? Scottish? Joel hadn’t lived in any of those places, she’d thought.
“Then.. what are you?” Gem asked in confusion, ignoring his comment. “How many of you are there?”
“We ain’t objects.” He muttered gruffly. “And us clones? Maybe forty— wait, no, they just brought in a new batch. Fifty?”
“Seriously?”

Tommy stays silent, only a jagged little breath escaping him, lungs wheezing unnaturally against Ranboo’s arms. Ranboo loses every scrap of hesitation.
“Just this once,” he breathes, cradling Tommy tight. “Just this once.”

Tommy was absolutely over the moon the first time he laid eyes on the beat-up red hoodie inside the equally rundown thrift store. To him, the hoodie was a treasure that was worth his final five-dollar bill in order to live out his dream of being a vigilante and helping the people of his district.
Would his other newly emancipated roommates be interested in that? Probably not. Was he going to do it anyway?
Absolutely.
Since being saved by a vigilante when he was younger, Tommy always wished to be a vigilante. Now that he was emancipated he decided that now was his chance.

There was a heavy silence for a moment, then-
“My brother’s a Piglin hybrid. When my dad left us, he’d go into the Nether to escape. Because it felt like home to him,” Tommy said, his voice quiet and thoughtful. “Being with him in the Nether… it was when he’d be my brother, not my guardian… you know?”
“Sure,” Tango said. He’s not even sure how he managed to get the word out with how dry his mouth has gone at the confession. As it has so often in the weeks he’s known Tommy, his heart aches for this child who had to grow up too fast.OR:
Tango was no stranger to burn-out or stress. With the amount of pressure he put on himself creating his game (YES, Impulse, he was WORKING ON IT), it was common for him to become overwhelmed. But someone else has found his cranny in the astral library

The only blessing about his green mile, was that there was a quilt over the cage he was in that kept some of the bitter cold out, not all of it of course for his fingers were blue and his body shook something fierce, but silver linings.
He deserved his fate, he should've known better than to disobey a direct order from Dream. He shouldn't have done that practical joke and he knew that, but he was so very tired of the orders, and just wanted to have some fun.
Now he paid the ultimate price.

Tommy watches the glimmer of Phil’s wings underneath the ceiling lights, nothing short of envious as he watches them gleam and glitter like obsidian, or onyx, sparkling perfectly.
He’s not sure why it’s only bothering him now, but he feels a deeply rooted form of jealousy, because he wants his wings to shine like that, yet…
He can’t bring himself to ask his flock to preen him, (can’t even take his wings out without going completely rigid) unused to the unfamiliar weight between his shoulder blades.
But he watches bitterly as Phil shifts around, perfectly cared for feathers shuffling behind him in perfect formation and Tommy is struck by the sudden need to run his fingers through them, to make sure they stay perfect and glowing and-
“Tommy?”
or; Tommy's imprinting, but he can't bring himself to take his wings out quite yet. Cue his family collectively trying to subtly (or not) help him through it!

Bright eyes stared right back at him as he made direct eye contact with the hybrid. They were blue as the sky, something so familiar yet so pure. His eyes were red-rimmed and glassy from tears. His cheeks were red—but not from blood, it was from the beetroots he had eaten from Technoblade’s garden.

This hybrid is a child. No older than 8 if he had to guess.
The child stared back with pleading eyes, fresh tears spilling down his cheeks as he chirped desperately.
Something within Techno snapped.
