Corel was supposed to be safe, known territory, and Sephiroth said hours ago that he couldn’t hear that inexplicable voice anymore, but — “I saw the look on your face in the reactor,” Sephiroth bites out. “It’s noble of you to pretend, I suppose —” well, that’s better than traitor, “—but we both know that’s what you’re doing. I repulse you. I repulse myself.”
“Oh, hell with this,” Zack says, and kisses him full on the mouth.
