But things seem to continuously go awry. Nothing is going right with this particular dumb yard sale scheme. Except when everyone is out there reaping the benefits of both of your hard work — but maybe getting to be alone together isn't too bad. And maybe things get better by the end of everything. And maybe even Lucifer turns his tune around for once and is actually happy with you guys for a little. That never happens.

Lucifer pleaded Belphie's case and managed to work something out with Lord Diavolo that isn't sending the youngest to the dungeons for who knows how many years to come. Instead, he'll be sent somewhere else, placed under a curse that keeps him from harming humans.
Lord Diavolo really does think that staying in the human world for a year could be good for Belphie. Lucifer is worried, but he thinks so too. Belphie thinks their all a bunch of stupid lunatics who obviously have no idea what they're even thinking about. If only they'd open their eyes and see that too.
Until then, looks like Belphie is stuck going to Belmont Academy for Delinquents — in the human realm.
