"hansol-ah, it's a stray," a voice cautions.
a hand reaches towards him and wonwoo's eyes narrow on it. he lays stationary, curled up in what he thought was a corner that was easy to overlook. apparently not, if these two humans had spotted him.
the brown-haired human's hand is still outstretched towards him, empty and slowly creeping forward in the air.
wonwoo's lips curl in a warning snarl.
it's still fresh on his mind: the rings, the dimly lit arena, the cacophony of jeering and the feel of red on his hands. his opponent laying on the ground, unmoving. it'd be him, if he didn't do it first. it had been him, only a short time ago in the alleyway.
the hand reaches for him and so he lets his arena training kick in and darts up, jaws snapping harshly—
"hansol!" the second human pulls the brown-haired one back, leaving wonwoo's teeth to snap around nothing.
or, thrown fresh into the world, wonwoo discovers there's more to his newfound life than just being free. like one short human who likes coke zeros (and maybe petting wonwoo?).

Wonwoo was standing with his shoulders squared, chin tipped up in challenge, and fists clenched at his side. He looked like he was two seconds away from busting Mingyu’s nose. But Mingyu had about two functioning brain cells, and he was still startled by the way Wonwoo had accosted him in the hallway as he was lumbering to the toilet to take a piss.
Wonwoo confesses his love to Mingyu. Mingyu reacts poorly.

Mingyu drowns the deep voice of his secretary out as he retrieves the letter of resignation. He pauses to look at it, actually look at it, and proceeds to let out a bark of laughter.
Secretary Jeon pauses his dialogue to stare at his boss, who was bending over with high-pitched laughter. Before he could inquire what the joke was, however, Mingyu walks towards him with the envelope in hand, and roughly rips the the piece of stationery in two.
“No.” He looks at a wide-eyed Wonwoo with a smug expression. “My answer is no. Now leave.”

Youngshik dragged his attention away from the booklet to look at him.
Mingyu swallowed. His cheeks prickled with heat. Steeling himself, he said, “I can do it. I can help Wonwoo through his heat.”
Youngshik turned back to his reading. “No. I don’t think that will be a good idea.”
“What? Why not? Look, it makes sense for me to do it. We can keep it internal that way. We won’t have to worry about someone blabbing to the media. I’m not going to knock him up, obviously,” Mingyu said, face flushing even hotter, if it were possible.
