Summary
Rey Niima, of the western lands of Jakku, was married off by her widower father to King Benjamin Solo when she was 13 years old in a political alliance. Her father's army, which formed part of her dowry, helped Ben win the war against a group of nobles calling themselves The First Order. Since then, it’s been 8 years of peace.
Rey has lived in a separate wing of the castle and has only seen her husband, since the age of 18, at occasions and feasts. 8 years ago, he asked her to think of him as a friend and Rey did so—but she is now 21 and finding that the sight of her husband stirs desire within her instead of fear. Rey must find a way to voice her wants and finally consummate a platonic marriage that has become far from simply friendship.

Ben’s mouth felt dry. “I… I carried a watermelon.”
Rey’s frown returned. “Right.” She patted his arm gently. He thought maybe her touch lingered, but he quickly dismissed that thought. It was just his imagination. “Have a good time, Ben.”
AKA: Ben goes on holiday with his mother to Niima Resort. He meets the dance teacher there, Rey - the rest is history.

The woman, because it was a woman, looked back at him. Her eyes were a deep brown, almost black, and her cheeks flushed a deep pink when the sight of his chest leapt out at her. She looked away, focusing on the toes of her walking boots.
“Sorry, I… um… was walking, I got lost.” She reached around, scratching the back of her neck. “You don’t have a sweater or something you can put on?”
Ben Solo, a frustrated academic studying the legends of vampires, visits his Uncle Luke to conduct research into the Celtic legend of the baobhan sith.

The low of her stomach stirred with feeling, the space between her thighs possessing that familiar twitch. She shifted in her seat.

Former soldier of the First Order, Rey, defects to the Resistance. She finds a position in the rebellion working alongside fellow misfit Ben Solo, who does boring work, writing reports on Force-aligned artefacts found by the Resistance. He needs someone to type them up.

Lying in the snow, Ben panted slowly.

She was glaring down at him. Tendrils of her hair fell around her face. Flakes of snow and the wind swirled around them.
The world slowed down again. As if everything in his life, everything he had done, was a flashpoint towards zero. The point where everything made sense.
"You're… so… beautiful."
Ben Solo travels to Jakku to try and rescue his father's ship, the Millennium Falcon. Along with finding the ship, he comes across tales of a woman dressed in black, who's only known as the Master of the Knights of Ren.
