Summary

After surviving a life changing accident, Luka Couffaine seeks an escape from his home. He needs time to figure out what he wants now that his his dreams are unattainable as he sees it. He wants to runaway from his family as he sees them tip toe around him, cautiously building him a safety net. After finding an ad searching for a roommate, Luka finds himself at a coffee shop looking into the eyes of the mayors daughter. Not ideal, considering the rumors going around about her family; however, at least it will be someone who wont look at him with pity in her eyes.
Together they work through their own personal stuggles and figure out how to play the cards they were dealt.
