Once out of HYDRA’s grasp, Bucky’s memories start to come back to him in a jumble, so he seeks out Steve for help. Once he’s safe in Avengers Tower, Bucky starts to interact with the ragtag team of superheros as they investigate a series of strange attacks on former SHIELD agents. With the help of Bruce and Tony, he starts to piece together more of his past, and he's surprised to remember that Steve isn’t the only Avenger he has a history with. Tucked among the dark past he struggles to reconcile are a series of uncommonly good memories with a certain former Russian operative.

When Natasha woke from having fallen asleep for the second time during movie night, the first thing she heard was Tony whisper-shouting, “No, no, no, don’t wake her,” from across the room.
That wasn’t what had woken her, but she was thankful for the distraction all the same. Because of it, the pair of blue eyes in front of her were focused on Tony instead of her, leaving her time recover from the shock of waking up to the Winter Soldier kneeling in front of her.

The super-soldier serum strengthens every body system and heightens every sense. This results in a few unintended side effects such as the inability to get drunk, near constant hunger, occasional bouts of insomnia, and (for a brief period) absolute, crippling arousal. Bucky learns about the fourth the hard way, and Natasha does love to flirt.
